We had a flock, um flight, um maybe a half-dozen of a new bird floating in the pond. At first I thought they were the hooded mercasers from an earlier post. Yet, the more I looked, that didn’t sit right. So, I pulled out my handy-dandy guide and found them. Ring necked ducks.

One of the nice things about the pond in the back is the variety of birds, including those that come and go.
