Political correctness is communist propaganda writ small. In my study of communist societies, I came to the conclusion that the purpose of communist propaganda was not to persuade or convince, not to inform, but to humiliate; and therefore, the less it corresponded to reality the better. When people are forced to remain silent when they are being told the most obvious lies, or even worse when they are forced to repeat the lies themselves, they lose once and for all their sense of probity. To assent to obvious lies is in some small way to become evil oneself. One’s standing to resist anything is thus eroded, and even destroyed. A society of emasculated liars is easy to control. I think if you examine political correctness, it has the same effect and is intended to.

Friday Quote – Aleksandr Solzhenitsyn
Let the lie come into the world. Let it even triumph. But not through me. The simple step of a courageous individual is not to take part in the lie.
Friday Quote – Ludwig Von Mises
Government interference always means either violent action or the threat of such action. … In face of the modern tendencies toward a deification of government and the state, it is good to remind ourselves that the old Romans were more realistic in symbolizing the state by a bundle of rods with an axe in the middle than are our contemporaries in ascribing the state all the attributes of God.
Friday Quote – Henry Hazlitt
Printing money in place of real savings can create the illusion of more wealth. Just as the addition of water can create the illusion of more milk.

Friday Quote – Penn Jillette

Friday Quote – David Levithan
What separates us from the animals, what separates us from the chaos, is our ability to mourn people we’ve never met.
Friday Quote – Dorothy Grant
There’s no such thing as quality time that makes up for quantity time.
Friday Quote – Jean-Francois Revel
Utopia is not under the slightest obligation to produce results. Its sole function is to allow its devotees to condemn what exists in the name of what does not.
Friday Quote – Tom Givens
Neither your understanding nor your consent are needed for someone to change your life drastically, or end it.
