This week’s band is relatively local, hailing from Orlando. I saw them when Hammerfall came to town, and we all know I’m a sucker for female-fronted metal. Here’s a track that I enjoyed.

Yes, I know it isn’t Tuesday. Fuck it. My week’s screwed up because of storm. So, I chose something light and funny.

If you’ve followed my Metal Tuesday series, you should know I have a fondness for covers. Particularly taking a non-metal song and turning it into a metal one. This one is not only a metal cover of a non-metal song, but a cover of the theme song to one of my favorite childhood films.

Ghost is one of those interesting theatrical groups. They do the satanic metal bit, with the kicker that they’re lead singer is an anti-Pope. The music has a unique sound amongst the metal bands.

Since The Brother had this one playing a lot during our recent excursion up to see the eclipse, I thought I’d share.

Another song from the burying through Derek’s head. And it’s Blind Guardian. They don’t make many mediocre songs.

We’ve had Holyhell on here before, and this is one of their more interesting songs.

Since Halloween had to land on a Monday this year, I’m doing my Halloween post a week early. And I’m doing TWO songs this week because this group is just that awesome. Especially if you’re nostalgic for the 80’s Transformers.
